Flying Dirt

  The wind is whipping across the prairie from the north making the cold feel like needle pricks on any exposed skin. It must be time for the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo since it seems to be perpetually accompanied by inclement weather. The cowboys on the arena floor seem to enjoy performing indoors, and probably makes the landings a little softer than the frozen ground outside. Nice to see that skills developed over hundreds of years of practical ranching are still being put to good use.

Bucking Bock

Aahhh, the holidays are over and the weather in the metroplex is getting cold so it must be Stock Show time. Got me inspired to do something with a bottle of Bucking Bock Beer from the local Rahr Brewery. Figure every bronc rider I have ever met drinks beer so a shot of one with a bock in his hand just seemed appropriate. Guess that means I can drink it too.
