Clifton Crofford is the director of a local non-profit glass studio SeNaCa, which offers numerous classes in the art of glass and glass blowing. He has been working on a series of creations from ribbons of glass that flow in a gorgeous shade of waving blue. Using a bubble technique he is creating faces in the forms giving the illusion of a face rising from the depths of the deep blue sea. The ribbons are all separate and combined later to create an assembly that can be propped or hung. the effect is like a jewel.

Colorfull Reflection
This morning I watched the glow of a sunrise wash across the surface of a pool. A gorgeous rainbow of colors shimmering like fine jewels. Hues of red, orange, yellow, deep blues and purples all mixed in a constant washing of ripples. Surrounded by a wall of intricate tiles that mimicked the appearance of the ref
lections on the water. It created a deceptively warm view even though the water was about 50 degrees, much too cold for a comfortable splash.
